Born in São Paulo and shaped by the creative pulse of Buenos Aires and New York City, MarKus is a self-taught artist whose work bridges the worlds of street culture and fine art. What began as childhood sketches evolved into a multidimensional practice spanning graffiti, canvas, and contemporary visual storytelling—marked by a bold, unmistakable signature style.
Since relocating to New York City in 2016, MarKus has honed a visual language influenced by the emotional intensity of Basquiat and the structural genius of Picasso—raw, expressive, and layered with meaning. Now represented by Cuban Fine Arts in New York, he creates work that explores themes of identity, culture, and power through color, texture, and form.
In partnership with Deangelo Everett, CEO of EthosEthic NYC, MarKus brings over years of creative collaboration to a shared mission: expanding the reach of wearable art and redefining how culture is expressed and experienced.
Their work is direct. Emotional. Unapologetic.
Designed to be seen. Designed to be felt.
